What we would like to achieve in the community
Our dream is to partner with stakeholders and investors to improve Sir Lowry’s Pass Village in terms of the following:
Private village housing project for community members not qualifying for RDP houses
Waste recycling that is championed by the school
Water recycling - next stage of above eco village project
Employment and career and skills development
Upgrading the train station and creating tourism opportunities
Steam train museum (with international partners) with additional tourism attraction project
Informal and retail business which will be partnered with train tourism
Upgrading municipal services
A joint operational public service centre
Improved medical care facilities
Creating community awareness regarding social care
Fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment
High School ~ construction due to start February 2022 and officially open January 2024
After care and additional subject tutorial centre which will be part of High School project
Sir Lowry’s Pass Creative Development’s objective is to act as a facilitator between the community and government, businesses, NGOs and churches, ensuring good governance, zero corruption, accountability and financial stability.
